Action Range

Action Range

The Action Range is made up of 14 bays ranging in size from 5 to 50 yards in length and various widths. This range is intended for action shooting sports and law enforcement training. The open bays allow for the configuration of various shooting scenarios using portable barriers and targets. Some of the shooting sports that use the Action Range include cowboy action shooting, practical shooting organized by the United States Practical Shooting Association and the International Defensive Pistol Association, and multi-gun competitions using pistol, shotgun and pistol caliber carbines.

The range was built in the 1990s as a temporary range. The permanent home of the Action Range will be the Lower Range Complex (LRC), currently under construction.
